Well, today, this wonderful Monday, it means doing school in the morning for me and the kids and a home inspection this morning for Izee. Then, off to the beach for a very restful afternoon. Maya and I took a nap and a swim and the boys found wood to carve their new ideas into. I think KK will build a shelf and Izee a bowl. Ky ate peanuts, swam and explored. We picked some stinging nettle to make a smoothie with and just all around enjoyed ourselves! For what it’s worth, I feel that our lack of involvement in a lot of clubs and organizations opens us up for many opportunities to enjoy each other in a relaxed, fun, natural way. My post yesterday may have sounded judgemental, so I just wanted to point out that (along with keeping expenses low so I can stay home and Izee can work part time, we are able to take most afternoons off, if we want to!)
What is the simple life today?
