A Great Week!

We had  really fun week. . . homeschool was very productive.  We are still really liking Oak Meadow for 6th and 1st grades.  It seems, especially with the 1st grade, the ‘schooling’ just fits right in with family life.  Maya is really grasping numbers and is skip counting by 2’s & 5’s to 100 and is working on her 3’s.  I feel like she’s just really not numerically challenged, as I most certainly am.

I made some good meals, lots of vegan this week.  I am working on a post about the many amazing meals that can be made with beans and rice.  You can pretty much hit on the flavors of all the corners of the world with beans, rice & vegis.  So, I am going to show you how to do an Indian style, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Latin, Spanish and Italian dishes.  It will be fun to put together!  So, look for that in the next few weeks.
