My sister, Linae @ http://linaesdays.wordpress.com/ are getting set to train for our first half marathon! We are going to meet next Oct in a town somewhere between the two of us so that we can run together! I’m really excited that we are doing this and will be motivating each other along the way ~ we both need it. Bad.
Today I ran/jogged/walked my normal 3.75 miles. Normally I jog ]/run the first 1.25, then I walk for about 3/4, then jog for about 3/4 and walk the last 3/4. My goal is to be able to do the whole thing at a nice, quick jog before we leave next month. Today I did better than my normal and jogged about 2.5 miles and walked 1.25. So, I’m building stamina!
For the record, I did that in 43.6 minutes. I’m going to be keeping track.
